Curating Committee
The permissionless nature of the Quest Platform, while fostering open participation, also necessitates measures to mitigate potential exploitation by bad actors. To ensure the integrity and health of the platform, we introduce the Curating Committee.
What is the Curating Committee?
The Curating Committee is responsible for moderating the Quest Platform. A key function of the committee is training our AI agent, Klout. Curators provide sentiment analysis grades on submissions, allowing Klout to learn and improve its own analysis capabilities. This human-in-the-loop system ensures the accuracy and effectiveness of grading submissions.
Who is part of the Curating Committee?
Membership in the Curating Committee is exclusively available to participants in either the StakeBoost Program or the LiquidBoost Program. These programs are designed to incentivize network security and active participation in platform governance.
What can I do as a Curator?
Curators play a vital role in maintaining the platform's quality. Their responsibilities include:
Verify the validity of submission disputes.
Rate non-text submissions (images, videos) that AI cannot process through sentiment analysis.
Rate all submissions to be used as training data for improving Klout's sentiment analysis
Report misconduct among fellow curators to reduce their rewards.
What do I get as a Curator?
Participants in the StakeBoost and LiquidBoost Programs receive $ENGX rewards for their contributions to network security. However, these rewards are not passive. To unlock and earn these rewards, participants must actively engage as Curators on the platform. This dynamic reward structure ensures that curators are incentivized to actively moderate and curate the platform effectively. Active participation is essential for earning rewards, fostering a healthy and well-maintained platform environment.
